PLASMA PEN

UPPER EYELID LIFT WITHOUT SURGERY

Good to Know: What is the Plasma Pen?

The Plasma Pen is an innovative technology utilizing plasma energy. It enables the sublimation of the skin's outermost layer, the epidermis, for targeted cosmetic treatments.

How Does the Plasma Pen Work?

The Plasma Pen operates using the plasma state of matter. A plasma generator ionizes the air, creating a plasma cloud that allows for the controlled removal of excess skin.

  • Unwanted skin areas are removed and tightened through the heat generated by the plasma.

  • The epidermis is effectively "vaporized" during treatment.

  • To achieve immediate contraction and tightening of skin fibers, individual points are placed next to each other on the targeted area.

  • Surrounding or underlying tissues are not damaged or exposed to unnecessary heat energy.

Effectiveness of Plasma Pen Treatments

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

Usually, one session is sufficient to achieve the desired results. After a month, a follow-up evaluation can determine if an additional session is necessary.

How Long Do Results Last?

As we age, natural hyaluronic acid levels decrease, and collagen fibers diminish, leading to reduced elasticity and firmness in the skin. Most visible signs of aging are closely related to this loss.

Other factors contributing to skin aging include:

  • Genetics

  • Hormonal changes

  • Sun exposure

  • Medications

  • Alcohol and tobacco use

  • Stress

Combined with natural aging, sun exposure leads to the formation of new pigmentation or age spots, caused by an increase in pigment-producing cells in the dermis.

Since the Plasma Pen treatment does not halt the aging process but rather minimizes its current signs, the results will naturally diminish over time. Depending on individual skin conditions and aging processes, annual touch-up treatments are recommended.

Versatility: What Can the Plasma Pen Treat?

The Plasma Pen is used to remove and tighten excess skin. Common treatment areas include:

  • Drooping eyelid correction

  • Upper and/or lower eyelid tightening

  • Removal of crow’s feet

  • Elimination of skin tags and milia

Recovery: When Can I Resume Normal Activities?

Immediately after the treatment, mild swelling and redness may occur.

During the healing phase, thin, dark scabs will form over the treated areas. These typically fall off within 3–7 days, leaving behind slightly pinkish skin.

This pinkish tint can be easily concealed with makeup. Once the epidermis fully regenerates, the discoloration disappears entirely.
