In microneedling, tiny needles create fine injuries in the skin layers that stimulate wound healing and collagen production. Algae peeling achieves similar results without needles by using the unique properties of Spongilla Spicula - tiny silica structures from certain sponges.
Advantages over traditional microneedling
Algae peeling offers a gentler and more natural alternative to traditional microneedling. It can treat a wider range of skin conditions, including couperose, rosacea, eczema and acne, where traditional needling is often not possible.
The microscopic particles penetrate up to 3.5 mm into the skin and remain active for up to 48 hours, allowing for longer and continuous stimulation of the skin.
