MICRO-NEEDLING
SKIN RENEWAL
Worth Knowing
What is Micro-Needling?
Micro-Needling is a treatment method that allows us to deliver targeted active ingredients deep into the skin—places where superficial care cannot reach. Using sterile disposable micro-needles, the skin's absorption capacity is significantly enhanced, allowing the corresponding aftercare products to take full effect during the skin’s regeneration phase.
Effect
How does Micro-Needling work?
The innovative Micro-Needling treatment, in contrast to traditional dry micro-needling, introduces various active ingredient complexes 0.5–2.5 mm deep into the skin. The micro-fine needles penetrate the epidermis (outermost skin layer), activating growth receptors that stimulate the production of the body's own collagen and hyaluronic acid. This enhances skin elasticity and visibly firms the connective tissue.
The micro-punctures are tailored to the specific areas of skin being treated and their sensitivity. The outermost layer of skin undergoes renewal.
Effectiveness
When can I expect results?
The effects of Micro-Needling and the active ingredient complexes are immediate. The first results are visible right after the treatment. Further changes in the skin occur about 24 hours later, during which mild redness and slight swelling may appear.
A slight tightening sensation and minimal discomfort may also be experienced but typically subside within 24 hours. However, the full treatment results usually take around five days to manifest, during which the skin continues to benefit from the active ingredient complexes.
How often should I repeat the treatment?
Depending on skin condition and treatment goals, we recommend 3–6 treatments at intervals of 10–14 days. This treatment cycle can be repeated up to twice a year.
How long do the results last?
For sunken scars, permanent improvement can be expected. The metabolism and blood circulation remain stimulated for the following months.
With age, the body’s natural levels of hyaluronic acid and collagen fibers decrease, leading to a loss of skin elasticity and firmness. Most external signs of aging (fine lines, wrinkles, dryness) are closely linked to the reduction of hyaluronic acid.
Other factors contributing to skin aging include genetic predisposition, hormonal changes, sun exposure, medications, alcohol, tobacco, and stress.
Exposure to sunlight, combined with the skin’s natural aging process, can lead to new pigmentation and age spots caused by an increase in pigment-producing cells in the dermis.
Since Micro-Needling minimizes existing signs of aging rather than halting the skin’s aging process, the results will naturally diminish over time. Depending on the skin’s condition and the aging process, the treatment cycle should be repeated up to twice a year.
